Against this backdrop, the government has taken a bold initiative to develop human resources working in the IT/ITES industry by building managerial and technical competencies through a world-class training program designed specifically for mid-management professionals. IBA of University of Dhaka, in collaboration with Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) – Delhi and Indian Institute of Management (IIM) - Ahmedabad, is launching this program, named
Advanced Certificate for Management Professionals (ACMP) to equip aspiring business leaders with much required knowledge and skill to excel in a rapidly changing global business environment.
When I came across the information of ACMP program designed for IT and ITES industry by the LICT project of ICT Division, GoB, I did not take much time to fill in the EOI and send to the relevant authorities. It was an exciting time for me to re-enroll into my favorite education epitome of Bangladesh, Institute of Business Administration, University of Dhaka after 15 years of completing my BBA and 9 years after completing my Executive MBA degrees. My primary objective was to refresh my memories with the modern business concepts, ideas, and create network with brilliant minds of the current IT industry; that will ultimately help me to enrich my entrepreneurial journey that I started four years back. After getting myself admitted, I got the thrill of getting back into the school to learn new things; and the fact that this course has been designed by the collaboration of IBA (DU), IIT (Delhi), and IIM (Ahmedabad), and being accredited by the University of Washington added the cherry on top of the already charming cake!
